We are seeking a Structural Engineer with experience in industrial or chemical plant environments to join our team in Kirskey, Kentucky. This role involves evaluating existing structures, designing modifications, supporting piping, lifting and rigging industrial equipment, and optimizing boiler designs. A relocation package is available for candidates outside the area.
Responsibilities:Assess existing structures and determine load capacities.Design modifications for facilities and equipment.Develop rigging plans for industrial equipment.Support piping and lifting operations.Optimize boiler designs, including equipment and piping supports.Collaborate within project teams to ensure seamless execution.Required Skills & Qualifications:5+ years of experience in steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry structure design.Familiarity with Seismic design using Equivalent Lateral Force procedures in IBC and ASCE 7.Proficiency in MathCAD, STAAD Pro, AutoCAD (basic), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Adobe Acrobat Pro.Knowledge of AISC (ASD, LRFD) and ACI design codes.BG check, drug test, and obtain DOE security clearance.Job Details:Location: Kirskey, KentuckySchedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PMRelocation Package Available for candidates outside the local area.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Structural Engineer looking to take on impactful projects within a dynamic team.
