🔍 The Role
As a Structural Design Engineer, you’ll play a key part in delivering technical designs for steel-framed structures, foundations, and supporting temporary and permanent works solutions. You'll work closely with a tight-knit team of experienced engineers, developing detailed, practical designs for a wide array of projects.
Key responsibilities:
Design of steel-framed structures, foundations, and associated componentsSupport scaffold and temporary works designs with practical buildability in mindProduce clear, accurate design calculations and drawings (AutoCAD and relevant software)Collaborate with clients, contractors, and site operatives to ensure practical solutionsCarry out checks and verification of drawings and calculationsAttend site visits and design meetings as requiredContribute to a positive, collaborative team environment with opportunities to learn and grow✅ What We’re Looking For
Degree-qualified in Structural or Civil Engineering3–7 years' experience in structural design (foundation and steelwork essential)Proficient with structural analysis and design tools (e.g. TEDDS, Tekla TSD, Robot, or similar)Comfortable reading and producing technical drawings using AutoCADAbility to think practically and provide buildable solutionsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAny experience in scaffold or temporary works design would be advantageous but not essentialFull UK driving licence🎯 Why Apply?
