Job Description
As a Structural Assembler, you will report to the Production Supervisor and be responsible for installing and assembling components on an aircraft structure. This role demands proficiency in blueprint reading, hole layout, countersinking, and deburring, along with the fitting and installation of conventional rivets and Hi-Lite fasteners. You will work with pre-fabricated parts to form subassemblies, utilizing various power and hand tools, jigs, fixtures, and other equipment. Ensuring adherence to schedule and production requirements is essential.
ResponsibilitiesInstall and assemble components on aircraft structures.Read and interpret blueprints for precise assembly.Perform countersinking and deburring tasks efficiently.Fit and install conventional rivets and Hi-Lite fasteners.Assemble and fit pre-fabricated parts into subassemblies.Apply manual solvent, conductive chemical conversion treatment, and paint touch-up.Utilize a variety of power and hand tools, jigs, fixtures, and equipment.Meet schedule and production requirements consistently.Work collaboratively as a strong team player, flexible and eager to learn new tasks.Essential SkillsProficiency in blueprint reading, hole layout, countersinking, and deburring.6+ years of experience in aircraft structural assembly.Mechanical inclination with experience in using pneumatic and power hand tools.Ability to perform drilling, countersinking, torqueing, and installation per blueprint specifications.Additional Skills & QualificationsCompletion of a metal fabrication course, aerospace structures course, or aeronautical technology education.Ability to pass a Pulmonary Fit Test (PFT) for respirator fitting.Physical fitness to work in restricted spaces and at heights.Capability to work rotating shifts, including days, afternoons, nights, and overtime.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a clean and bright aerospace manufacturing shop floor environment, requiring adherence to safety protocols, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Shifts may rotate to accommodate production schedules, and tasks will be performed in various conditions including restricted spaces and heights.
