Summary: The Stroke Program Manager/Get with the Guidelines Onsite Coordinator is responsible for planning, directing, evaluating and improving the Primary Stroke Program; maintaining Joint Commission Stroke Center Certification, and assuring compliance with the Get with the Guidelines criteria to facilitate organizational benchmarking and best practice for our patients. Responsibilities: The Stroke Program Manager/Get with the Guidelines Onsite Coordinator partners with patients, families, employees, providers, community agencies and regulatory bodies to facilitate best practices aimed at meeting patient needs and comply with regulatory standards. **Other Information** Other information: + EDUCATION + Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina. + BSN Required. Masters Preferred. + EXPERIENCE + Minimum of 5 years of acute care nursing experience; experience in critical care, ED, or neurology preferred. + Demonstrates leadership and communication skill to work successfully in interdisciplinary healthcare teams. + Excellent computer skills. + Prior experience with fundamental quality improvement tools + Prior experience in program management and evaluation. + LICENSURE/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION + Current BLS certification. + NIHSS certification to be obtained within one year. **Job Details** Legal Employer: Lenoir Health Entity: UNC Lenoir Health Care Organization Unit: Grant- Primary Stroke Work Type: Full Time Standard Hours Per Week: 40.00 Salary Range: $37.60 - $45.12 per hour (Minimum to Midpoint ) Pay offers are determined by experience and internal equity Work Assignment Type: Onsite Work Schedule: Day Job Location of Job: US:NC:Kinston Exempt From Overtime: Exempt: Yes Qualified applicants will be considered without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
