Here’s what you’d do:

The Street Sweeper Operator is responsible for safely operating a heavy-duty sweeper truck to perform assigned duties on cleaning private streets, parking lots, and/or other locations. This position is responsible for thoroughly and efficiently servicing the clients’ needs while complying with Company policies. This position is an overnight/graveyard shift.

You’d be responsible for:

Operates sweeping vehicle that cleans streets and trash, leaves and other debris.Ensures supplies and material handling equipment is secured prior to operating sweeper.Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle.Ensures vehicle is operating correctly while on the route and notifies supervisor of any concerns.Immediately reports any unsafe situations to Supervisor.Participates and cooperates in all scheduled training, briefings, and safety meetings as required by the company.Performs all duties as scheduled and assisting other company drivers as directed.Notifies Supervisor of any incidents/accidents/injures/property damage.Provides a positive professional customer attitude when interacting with customers. 

 You might be a good fit if you have:

Ability to work the graveyard shift.Valid Class C Driver's License required.Acceptable driving recordProblem solving and effective communication skills.Shoveling and cleaning of sweeper hopper.Street sweeping experience is a plus, but not required.Ability to work nights/overtime and weekends (when needed)Previous experience in a cleaning or construction-related field, such as operating large vehicles or using hand tools preferred.Required to work overtime and in case of emergency on weekends/holidays.
