WCIA is looking for a Streaming Content Producer/Anchor to grow our digital and CTV platforms. This role is unique and will involve crafting solid, journalistically sound storytelling to engage our audiences across our website, apps, social media channels, and our CTV channel. We are also looking for a content creator willing to produce stories/segments and host one or more live digital productions to expand our audiences.

Position Responsibilities:

Produce, edit video content using OBS Studio and other toolsEnsure all content meets high standards of journalistic integrity and production qualityResearch and analyze details to provide complete, accurate stories -Arrange interviews with people for exclusive CTV shows when neededProduces and presents reports on all platformsLaunch creative, compelling daily content for viewers on mobile, desktop, and connected TV -Be able to self-direct a show through OBS StudioSet up and coordinate guests for in-studio or remote appearancesPlan content for each day -Keep up to date with local, state, national, and world newsWrite, edits stories for the web and other digital platforms/channels

 Requirements & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experienceExcellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to ad lib when requiredProficiency in OBS Studio and Adobe Creative Cloud, with live TV production knowledgePortfolio of live, published web samples and/or print workStrong interest in local news, sports, storytelling, and growing digital audiencesExcellent editorial judgment, communication, and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with SEO and social media content strategies

NON-UNION FULL-TIME HOURLY

Compensation:

$15 to $17 per hour - commensurate with applicant's experience and skill level
