Strategy Program Manager, StoresSec
Amazon's Stores Security (StoresSec) Team seeks an experienced Program Manager to lead and transform our workplace culture through strategic site management and employee engagement initiatives. This role serves as the primary steward of our return-to-office experience, ensuring a cohesive welcoming, and engaging environment across all locations. This person will oversee and standardize workplace amenities programs, including site-specific initiatives; establish consistent policies and procedures across all locations to optimize employee experience; and develop and implement feedback mechanisms to measure employee satisfaction and engagement.

Key job responsibilities
Site Strategy & Space Management: In this capacity, the Program Manager will lead space allocation initiatives across primary locations, with a focus on ensuring optimal utilization of workplace resources. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive seating strategies that align with organizational growth and evolving needs. A key aspect of this role involves creating regular reporting mechanisms to track occupancy, utilization, and future space requirements. The Program Manager will serve as the primary liaison with Global Real Estate & Facilities (GREF), where they will be responsible for maintaining transparent communication and building strategic partnerships to support the organization's space management objectives.

Strategic Event Management: The Program Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive framework for planning, executing, and evaluating social engagement programs across all StoresSec locations. This includes establishing standardized processes for event planning, budgeting, and execution to ensure consistency and efficiency. The role requires partnering with local site leaders to ensure consistent event delivery while maintaining cultural sensitivity across different locations. Additionally, the Program Manager will work closely with HR partners to create and maintain metrics-driven reporting systems that effectively measure event success, attendance, and return on investment.

A day in the life
Communicating, reporting and planning of site expectations based on OP1, RTO and RTT projections:
- Develop comprehensive seating strategies aligned with organizational growth
- Create and maintain occupancy tracking systems
- Generate regular utilization reports and future space requirement forecasts
Lead space allocation initiatives across primary locations
- Monitor and adjust workplace resource utilization
- Building transparency and earning trust across partners with regular meetings and reporting mechanisms
Serve as primary liaison with Global Real Estate & Facilities (GREF):
- Establish regular communication channels with Recruiting, HR, GREF, and Corporate Security
- Create standardized reporting templates for cross-functional updates
- Maintain strategic partnerships for space management objectives

Budgeting - projections, managing and reporting
- Develop comprehensive event budgets
- Track and report on event spending
- Create ROI analyses for social engagement programs
- Manage budget allocations across different locations

Centralizing and standardizing events, experiences and expectations
- Create standardized event planning processes
- Develop consistent execution frameworks
- Ensure cultural sensitivity across different locations
- Establish uniform quality standards for all events
Building partnership and influencing without authority across EAs at all Hub locations
- Coordinate with local site leaders
- Develop communication protocols for event planning
- Create feedback loops for continuous improvement
- Establish metrics-driven reporting systems for event success
