**About the Role**
The Postmates Eater Operations & Pricing team is responsible for unlocking the next phase of Postmates user growth. This team drives the strategy and execution of customer acquisition, engagement, and retention initiatives, as well as defining and executing on strategies for customer pricing.
The ideal candidate for this role should have a proven track record in operations and strategy, strong analytical skills, excellent time-management and organizational skills, and the ability to clearly communicate and present complex information to diverse audiences. Familiarity and love of the Los Angeles market is a big plus.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Help manage customer pricing for Postmates markets
+ Develop analytical frameworks to optimize strategic decisions and build scalable tools and dashboards to assess impact and improve decision making
+ Partner with the Postmates GM, Postmates Strategy & Planning team, Territory Operations team, and key cross-functional partners (eg. CRM) to determine user acquisition, engagement, cohorting and communication strategy; unlock new acquisition levers throughout the entire funnel
+ Devise investment business cases and recommendations for customer acquisition opportunities based on a detailed cost-benefit assessment
+ Craft and deploy promotions to acquire new customers, engaging current customers, and winning back inactive customers; run experiments to find the most effective and efficient structures
+ Ensure monthly/quarterly budget is allocated and met by ongoing/planned campaigns, with Finance
+ Support Uber One Membership growth planning and reporting, with Membership and Brand Marketing leads
+ Optimize existing lifecycle CRM series through experimentation
+ Own in-app merchandising for the Postmates app
+ Work with Finance to optimize Fees and Promotions for US markets based on business goals, and configure pricing changes as needed
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ 1.5 years' experience in Analytics, Strategic Operations, Technology, Consulting or similar
+ Intermediate to advanced proficiency in SQL
+ Bachelor's degree
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as math, statistics, physics, engineering, economics, computer science, operational research
+ Advanced SQL proficiency
+ Demonstrated familiarity with R/Python, especially geospatial experience
+ Background in marketing, promotions, or other CRM
+ Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, capable of coordinating multiple projects simultaneously
+ Passion for solving sophisticated, unstructured real-world problems with data Experience in consulting / strategy / econometrics / tech or related field; high-growth operations or startup experience is strongly preferred
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$106,000 per year - USD$118,000 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
