Strategy Lead, PMO & Divestitures
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategy Lead to join our Corporate Developments & Strategy team working on business transformation, with a dual focus on **high priority business initiatives related to M&A/divestitures** . This role is critical in driving strategic and operational alignment during times of organizational change, ensuring seamless execution of integrations and divestitures across the full program lifecycle. In your first year, you will play a key role in supporting the strategic spin-off of our ADI business from Resideo. Following the spin, your role will transition to align with either the ADI or Resideo organization, depending on business need. This is a unique opportunity to apply your passion for strategy and development in a fast-paced, evolving environment where your expertise will help shape the future of both the ADI and Resideo organizations. You will work closely with senior leadership to challenge assumptions, coach stakeholders, and deliver tangible results. This is a high-impact role that requires a mix of strategic insight, operational excellence, and leadership presence. **JOB DUTIES:** **Strategy & Planning** + Partner with corporate development and business leadership to define integration and carve out strategies aligned with broader company objectives. + Develop and maintain the master program plan, including timelines, interdependencies, and strategic guardrails (e.g., speed vs. cost trade-offs). **Program Ownership** + Lead full lifecycle management of assigned programs, including planning, scope definition, development, testing, production, and deployment. + Own the end-to-end execution of M&A / carve out initiatives, ensuring alignment across functional teams. **Execution Excellence** + Drive tactical execution and ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. + Manage program risks, issues, and dependencies with a proactive and structured approach. **Governance & Reporting** + Establish and enforce program governance structures, performance metrics, and reporting cadences. + Lead executive updates, steering committee meetings, and decision-making forums. **Cross-Functional Leadership** + Coordinate across business, technology, product, operations, and shared services teams to ensure efforts are synchronized and fully supported. + Serve as the central point of contact for all workstreams, including Finance, Legal, HR, IT, and Supply Chain. **Stakeholder Engagement & Coaching** + Build and maintain superior stakeholder relationships across the business. + Coach and challenge leaders and team members to adopt transformation goals, identify blind spots, and continuously improve delivery outcomes. **Change Management & Continuous Improvement** + Drive change management initiatives to support organizational readiness and staff transitions. + Identify gaps and opportunities across the M&A / carve out lifecycle and implement process improvements for repeatable success. **YOU MUST HAVE:** + 7+ years of program or project management experience, with at least 5 years focused on transformation, M&A, or carve out initiatives. + Experience with TSA structures, stranded cost mitigation, and operational separation planning is a plus. + The ability to work in-office three days/week (Tu/Weds/Thurs) in adherence with our hybrid work environment [Any one of the following Office Locations: Charlotte, NC | Dallas, TX | Austin, TX | Golden Valley, MN) **WE VALUE:** + Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels. + Demonstrated success managing cross-functional programs across the full development lifecycle. + Deep experience in stakeholder management, business alignment, and change enablement. + PMP, PgMP, or Agile/Scrum certification. + Experience in fast-paced, high-growth, or matrixed environments. + Prior work in a carve-out or M&A integration context, ideally with exposure to both operational and financial separation. + Experience working with external advisors and managing multiple consulting partners. **WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU:** + Opportunity to shape and lead high-impact transformation initiatives inside a global public company. + Highly visible role and responsibilities that provides the opportunity for career advancement in a growing organization focused on protecting what matters most. + Innovation: Bring your creative ideas to the table and be part of a company that values out-of-the-box thinking + Resideo provides employees with a comprehensive benefits package, including life and health insurance, life assistance program, accidental death and dismemberment insurance, disability insurance, retirement plans, vacation & holidays \#LI-MA1 \#LI-HYBRID Resideo is a $6.76 billion global manufacturer, developer, and distributor of technology-driven sensing and control solutions that help homeowners and businesses stay connected and in control of their comfort, security, energy use, and smart living.
