Strategy & Innovation Administrative Residency is for University students enrolled in the Master's program. Responsible for assisting with the execution of strategic initiatives across all departments of the organization and ensuring the completion of data collection, analytical reporting, market analysis, planning, budgeting, and forecasting. This is a high-visibility position where you will work closely with executive, operational, and sales leadership and help inform decision-making. This is an environment where self-starters who are able to manage themselves, can quickly adapt, and learn new skills and information quickly will thrive. Must be able to work on-site in the Corporate Cincinnati, Ohio office. Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, Fridays work from home.

The desire to make a difference for our patients and employees.Use Excel, Power BI, SQL, Power Platform, and other tools to design, develop, maintain, and improve reports for stakeholders.Manages governance processes around key operations metrics.Manage and manipulate complex internal/external data to uncover actionable insights and presents in clear and actionable format.Develop strong relationships with all levels of the organization and maintain working knowledge of VITAS systems, processes, and applications.Contributes to the implementation of new clinical technology platforms working across departments to prepare them for enterprise use.Contributes to project roadmaps and participate as a team to work across stakeholder groups to move projects forward.Comfort with ambiguity and working in a fast-changing environment. Performs ad-hoc analyses that support strategic initiatives.Proactively apply continuous improvement practices to improve the demand planning process in efficiency, accuracy, and flexibility.Gather and analyze data from all sources to uncover actionable insights to improve forecast accuracy.
QUALIFICATIONS
Two to three years’ business and/or data analysis experienceExperience with analytical tools such as Power BI, SQL, R, Data verse, Power PlatformStrong data gathering, analytical and project management skillsStrong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Experience working with large datasetsCompetency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel)Ability to communicate tactfully, verbally and in writing with department heads, managers, coworkers, and vendors to resolve problems and negotiate resolutionsLearns quickly when facing new problems; analyzes both successes and failures for clues to improvement; enjoys the challenge of unfamiliar tasksEDUCATION
