The Vice President, Strategy and Partnerships for Wealth Services will report into the Managing Director, Strategy and Business Development for Wealth Services.
The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting a wide range of strategy and partnership execution activities for the business, including:
Supporting the growth strategy for a substantial, market-leading offering through driving strategic and business development initiativesContributing to the strategic and operating planning processes in partnership with business leadersConducting regular market and competitive research to build a market leading view of the global ecosystem of wealth services providers globallyIdentifying strategic partners and working with enterprise M&A teams to evaluate minority investment and acquisition opportunitiesSupport business leaders in executing strategic partnerships with clients, fintech firms, custodians, data providers, and other third partiesSupport the head of the department in finalizing contractual arrangementsPlan and execute business development initiatives in close collaboration with senior management and product management, including identifying potential targets for acquisitionSupport Market Intelligence Projects, in partnership with teams such as financeWhat we value

Proven record of supporting M&A transactions and transaction experience in crafting strategic alliances, partnerships, and investmentsExtensive experience in modelling Pro Forma financials reflecting revenue and cost implications of strategic partnerships being evaluatedExposure to the wealth management servicing industry with proven skillset in translation of industry / client themes and trends into actionable strategy, partnering effectively with a wide range of internal and external constituentsAbility to deliver across complex multi-functional projectsA customer orientation which allows him/her to solicit, acquire, and act on information from customers concerning their current and future needs, issues, and challengesEducation & Preferred Qualifications
Undergraduate degree minimum and graduate degree / MBA preferred 5+ years of related experience preferably within the Financial Services industryTop-tier investment banking, business development, or corporate development experience preferred, particularly with exposure to Financial Services / FinTechAbility to lead, prioritize and execute on multiple, simultaneous priorities and initiativesStrong delivery focused mindset; ability to work on multiple initiatives in parallel, thinking both tactically and strategicallyOutstanding verbal and written communications.Superb business judgment and ability to think through complex business issues.Critical assessment capability –ability to maintain a very high bar and deliver excellence in work products.Salary Range:
$110,000 - $177,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
