**Minimum qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
+ 8 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
**Preferred qualifications:**
+ MBA degree.
+ 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or a digital media environment.
+ 2 years of experience creating data sets, data modeling, and reporting.
+ Knowledge of Google’s Ads products, business teams, and the Ads industry.
The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.
As the Chief of Staff, your objective will be to drive effective business management for the VP of Americas Large Customer Sales (ALCS) and Global Client and Agency Solutions (GCAS) Go-to-Market and their leadership team. You will be responsible for crafting and supporting priorities. You will gain visibility and experience into what it takes to lead an organization and help run the team’s business operations which covers a broad range of activities from partnering with the VP on strategic priorities to shaping the content agenda for executive and operational forums to inspiring the team by connecting the leader’s goal to day-to-day work. You are a well-rounded and experienced performer who can add value to a variety of business and operational challenges. You are highly organized and an exceptional communicator with close attention to detail, an agile and creative problem-solver, and have the ability to build excellent partnerships across functions. You will be highly collaborative, working with a broad range of colleagues across functions (Sales, Finance, GTM) and cross-region locations. You are able to earn a high degree of trust from across the organization and cascade information to the team via clear messaging.
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000-$267,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. **Responsibilities:**
+ Define, prioritize, structure and execute strategic and operational initiatives which includes developing work plans, gathering and synthesizing data, leading analyses, and developing and implementing recommendations.
+ Drive operating excellence for the organization, including optimizing resource allocation, measuring/reporting progress against key objectives and managing business updates/quarterly reviews.
+ Deliver initiatives that are foundational elements to the Mastery team achieving its learning and business objectives (e.g., end-to-end process standardization and optimization, measurement strategy, talent strategy, etc.).
+ Analyze business processes to identify potential issues and uncover/prioritize levers for improvement, influence executive stakeholders to implement suggested improvements.
+ Structure and package your work into compelling presentations and communications that influence various audiences including executives.
