Strategy and Operations Lead, SMB, Google Cloud
Minimum qualifications: + Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. + 6 years of experience in Go-To-Market strategy, sales operations, strategy and operations, management consulting, finance, or program management. + Experience managing rhythm of business activities, such as annual business planning, headcount management, running business reviews, or goal-setting. Preferred qualifications: + MBA or other relevant advanced degree. + Experience tailoring and delivering compelling reporting and presentations, leading conversations that drive results and efficiencies. + Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing without authority to drive operational excellence, successful delivery of priority initiatives, process improvements, and change management. + Experience leveraging data analysis (e.g., financial modeling, Google Sheets, SQL, Looker, etc.) to solve problems, influence business leadership, measure outcomes, and evolve recommendations based on results. + Knowledge of enterprise customers and cloud technologies, products and market landscape. + Interest in implementing GenAI solutions to drive businesses at greater scale and velocity. The Google Cloud Go-To-Market Strategy and Operations team acts as trusted advisors, partnering with sales, customer engineering, finance, marketing, partners and Google Cloud consulting to plan, strategize, and run the business in a way. As a Strategy and Operations Lead for Small and Medium Businesses (SMB), you will be responsible for defining, landing and executing on our key priorities to drive operational excellence, business growth, and productivity. You will be responsible for helping with planning, goal setting, territory design, expansion plans, and managing the rhythm of the business activities. You will provide business insights, ensure cross-functional alignment, drive partnerships, and execute new initiatives. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google (https://careers.google.com/benefits/) . + Partner with Directors and managers to develop the team’s business plan and Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, support business forecasting and reporting, run day-to-day operations, and serve as trusted advisor to SMB Sales leadership. + Run business critical global operational processes working across numerous global cross-functional teams overseeing, checking, and monitoring systems set up to ensure the sales team is enabled to work effectively with customers. + Be able to self-initiate and drive operational improvements for the team end-to-end (e.g. optimizing resource allocation across sales teams and process redesign leveraging GenAI), including measuring progress against goals and facilitating management discussions and decisions. + Help define an optimal sales organization structure aligned with Go-To-Market priorities. + Participate in and help steer global initiatives, and ensure that they are implemented effectively to the sales team.
