Job Title: Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategicSupply Chain Sourcing Specialistto lead sourcing initiatives, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost-effective procurement strategies. This role is critical in ensuring a reliable supply of materials and services while maintaining quality, cost, and delivery standards. The ideal candidate will bring over 5 years of experience in sourcing within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business goals and production requirements.Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and reliability.Lead negotiations for pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, and operations to support new product development and cost-reduction initiatives.Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions as needed.Analyze market trends, risks, and opportunities to inform sourcing decisions.Maintain accurate supplier records, contracts, and performance metrics.Support continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes and systems.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.Minimum of 5 years of sourcing or procurement experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Strong negotiation and contract management skills.Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards).Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Knowledge of global sourcing and supplier risk management is a plus.Professional certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, or CPM are preferred.
Work Environment

This position offers a hybrid work schedule with 2-3 days onsite, providing a flexible working environment. The company promotes a fun work culture with events such as potlucks and company gatherings. Cross-training opportunities are available with current team members on commodities and suppliers.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
