We have an opportunity for a Strategic Sourcing Manager to join us at Honeywell, in Bucharest, where you will be responsible for establishing and driving continuous improvement projects to drive standardization and automation in the global purchasing function within Honeywell Building Solutions. Lead the team of purchasing professionals to drive execution of Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan and drive transformation through purchasing excellence. You will have global and regional responsibility to drive purchasing process transformation including but not limited to past due reduction, process automation, track and outperform SLAs with the aim to support best in class results for HBS business. You will be managing several projects in a dynamic global environment. You will ensure compliance with company business policies and procedures, Export /Import regulations.

This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.

Key responsibilities

Drive Purchasing transformation projects at global levelImplement continuous improvement methodologies across the purchasing functionRight and fast execution to align with business growthAct as key agent of change by identifying and implementing breakthrough initiatives to streamline purchasing processesOwn tracking and execution of global past due reduction of materialsDrive alignment with connecting Honeywell functions (Sourcing, CX, Business operations, etc)

Key skills and qualifications

Significant experience in Procurement/Purchasing/Supply ManagementExposure to multinational industrial companies in global rolesPrior project management experience, ideally within procurement functionsProfessional certifications in Project/Supply Chain/ Procurement/Contract ManagementDemonstrated business and financial acumenStrong leadership experience and skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
