As a Strategic Solution Architect, you will be a visionary leader responsible for designing and governing enterprise-wide architecture solutions that span across all business domains. You will focus on transversal topics to ensure strategic alignment, reusability, and consistency across the organization, making a significant impact on the entire enterprise architecture landscape to support Sanofi's Digital strategy.

Main Responsibilities:

Design internal transversal platforms utilized across all business verticals, collaborating with business, technology, and product stakeholders to tailor architecture designs that meet diverse needs.

Define Digital technology standards applicable across the entire organization, identifying constraints and decision drivers for technology services selection.

Establish, publish, and communicate reference architectures, and design patterns that promote consistency and efficiency across the enterprise.

Conduct pilot designs and implementations for high-value business cases, defining metrics, creating technical architectures, and leveraging standard CI/CD pipelines.

Incorporate regulatory requirements (Data Privacy, GxP, SOX) and cybersecurity requirements into architecture designs, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards.

Stay update to date on industry practices and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential impact on Sanofi's systems landscape and recommending solutions that could improve operations or competitiveness.

About You

Experience:

Proven track record in architecture with extensive experience designing and implementing complex technology solutions across multiple lines of business

Experience guiding and facilitating engineering teams through implementations from concept to delivery

Diverse exposure to various platforms, frameworks, programming languages, and technologies

Strong background in modern software delivery approaches

Business domain knowledge relevant to the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry is a plus

Soft and technical skills:

Strong facilitation abilities for leading design sessions and whiteboarding with stakeholders

Skilled at balancing long-term strategic objectives with practical implementation needs

Design thinking approach to problem-solving with focus on user needs

Deep expertise across multiple technology domains including security, cloud architecture, software architecture, integration patterns, and data management

Hands-on engineering experience beyond creating static diagrams - ability to prototype and validate solutions

Proficiency with cloud platforms (Azure and AWS) and cloud-native architectures

Understanding of regulatory frameworks relevant to pharmaceutical industry (GxP, SOX, data privacy)

Experience with architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF) and documentation approaches

Education:

A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Languages:

Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills

The salary range for this position is:

$125,250.00 - $180,916.66

All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs. Additional benefits information can be found through the LINK.
