Compensation Range

Hourly: $29.90 - $45.45 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

About This Job

The main purpose of this job is to provide administrative and department support to the Director of Specialty Consumer Lending and Strategic Services and other senior leaders of the team. Job functions are approximately 30% Administrative, 30% Projects and 40% rotational duties within the team.

Essential Functions

Design plans for regularly scheduled Team Meetings/events including creating meeting agendas, developing and executing content, taking notes, and completing follow-up on action items

Maintain high-level goals roster for senior leaders including coordination for consistency among other Consumer Segment and Strategic Services senior leaders.  This includes appropriate actions to update and monitor status. Elevate appropriate items as needed

Manage Consumer Segment and Strategic Services senior leader calendar via Outlook as requested.  This includes reassigning meeting requests as appropriate, scheduling and maintaining regularly scheduled meetings, resolving scheduling conflicts, and related tasks  

Independently develop and execute small projects and assist to develop and execute medium size projects

Complete short-term rotations across the Consumer Segment departments to expand knowledge of Consumer business units and the overarching strategy

Develop presentation materials as requested

Perform other duties as assigned  

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

Intermediate ability to create and lead presentations

Intermediate ability to work with cross-functional resource groups and support business needs

Business savvy with a growth mindset

Proven ability to lead and collaborate with project teams to successfully deliver desired results 

Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail, ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks/projects, and excellent time management skills

Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills who has the ability to confidently communicate with various levels of Business Partner leadership whether in person or virtually

Accountable self-starter with the ability to work independently with limited oversight

Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint and OneNote

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.  Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) preferred. 

Experience leading a project team in a business or educational setting required

At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $29.90 to $45.45 per hour.
