Summary of this role:

Commerz Globalpay GmbH is a newly formed joint venture between Global Payments and Commerz Bank to provide a comprehensive suite of innovative omnichannel payment and software solutions at scale, providing a one-stop-shop for merchants to run and grow their businesses more efficiently.

The joint venture unites two strong brands. Global Payments brings commerce enablement solutions and distinctive payment offerings, while Commerzbank brings the knowledge and customer relationships within the German small and medium size merchant market.

Commerz Globalpay GmbH will offer digital payment capabilities, including Global Payments’ smartphone-based payment applications that enable merchants to accept mobile payments without a separate card reader, modern card terminals and e-commerce/mobile payment solutions, all integrated to deliver seamless omnichannel experiences. Further, business customers will have access to a variety of leading value-added services, including cloud-based point-of-sale software, customer loyalty programs, an analytics and customer engagement platform, and more.

We are looking for an analytical thinking "Strategic Sales Manager" (f/m/d) who is supporting us in levering up our sales environment.

What Part Will You Play?CRM

Analyze usage of current data fields and sales workflow

Improve Pipedrive frontend with clear fields and clear funnel

Close collaboration with Marketing and Automation – synchronization with Sales

Close collaboration with Telesales Head and Head of Sales to generate Sales Guidelines on how to use the CRM

Product

Work on a concept to collect user feedback from lost leads due to product reasons

Build a possibility to understand where our product is lacking

Create Ideas and Requirements for Missing Features or Feature Wishes

Evaluate usefull VAS for our Products

Improve Customer Onboarding

Sales / Marketing / Product Coordination

Help with Go-to-Market strategies for product launches that includes:

GP Analytics, Sellstart, Liberis, GMB Free Tool Marketplace etc.

Create proposales for product bundels

System

Proposals for improving the Omnitracker–Pipedrive connection

Help to establish a proper and stable setup on the sales and marketing side

Define requirements for Make and Coba API

Governance

Build up governance on our side for the requirements we have for the local entity in processes we own

Projects

Contribute to building a Field Sales App MVP

Get in contact with leads and ensure a smart lead approachImplement sending a postcard in advanceMake lead follow-up faster and more efficient

What Are We Looking For in This Role?Master's degree in Economics, Marketing, Product Management, Business Development & Strategy, Data Analytics, IT or related fields5 years of concrete experiencesFamiliar with working in a matrix organisation

What Are Our Desired Skills and Capabilities?Strong economical and entrepeneurial mindset incl. strong focus on data driven sales processes to deduce strategy impulses for our market growthClear and updated understanding of the German payment market's needs incl. trends and opportunitiesStrong analytical and strategical point of view incl. high passion for data as basement for efficiency improvementsStrong hands on mentality to optimize and further development of processes around complex data sales cycles, pricings and marketing operationsClose collaboration with Sales, Partner Management, Product Management and OperationsVery good English and German language skills (verbal and written)
