Emerson has an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Proposal Manager, based in Round Rock, TX, or Houston, TX. In this highly visible role, you will be responsible for coordinating the technical and commercial aspects of proposals, including cross-Business Unit and multi–World Area pursuits. You will have the flexibility to work away from the office one day a week. **In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Independently develop proposal planning and scheduling details + Lead proposal teams comprised of Operations, Sales and Industry members to complete proposal on time + Collaborate on medium to high complexity proposal estimates and documents based on customer’s RFQ + Lead the development of proposals with or without subject matter experts + Be accountable for proposal assembly + Participate in process improvements + Prepare responses to technical and commercial clarifications, using internal technical resources as needed + Mentor other proposal resources in the development of proposals and following proposal process **Who You Are:** You tackle difficult issues with optimism and confidence.
