As a key member of the Strategic Initiatives Team, you will transform promising experiments into scalable initiatives across WWSO (Worldwide Specialist Organization). Our team accelerates growth by identifying, validating, and scaling new opportunities, combining business strategy, technical expertise, and operational excellence to transform insights into impactful initiatives aligned with WWSO and AWS strategic priorities.

The Strategic Initiatives Team plays a crucial role in this vision by identifying and validating opportunities that drive meaningful customer outcomes at scale.
This role reports to the Strategic Initiatives Team leadership and works closely with Strategy and Technical teams to drive growth initiatives across WWSO.

- Design and execute programs that develop organizational capabilities while leveraging automation and AI
- Create repeatable processes and playbooks for scaling successful initiatives
- Drive accountability through clear metrics and governance mechanisms
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes

About the team
This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.

Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Proven ability to build and manage cross-functional executive relationships
- Experience building and executing global enablement, training, and development programs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in cloud/technology industry
- Strong understanding of AWS services and ecosystem
- Experience working with technical and business teams

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
