Strategic Procurement & Finance Director
**Overview** We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced Procurement & Finance Director to oversee procurement, financial governance, and commercial management for a large-scale facilities account. This role will be instrumental in supporting a major client undergoing rapid growth and expansion across multiple sites and service lines. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in financial strategy, contract management, vendor sourcing, and client-facing partnership to ensure sustainable, scalable growth while maintaining fiscal discipline and operational excellence. **Key Responsibilities Procurement & Supply Chain Leadership** + Lead procurement strategy for a multi-service facilities management portfolio, ensuring alignment with client growth objectives and account expansion. + Build and manage supplier ecosystems to ensure scalability, innovation, risk mitigation, and cost optimization. + Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, subcontractors, and service providers to maximize value, compliance, and performance outcomes. + Develop frameworks for rapid procurement and deployment of services, materials, and resources to support client’s accelerated site activation schedule. **Financial Strategy & Governance** + Serve as financial steward for the account, overseeing P&L, forecasting, and long-range financial planning in alignment with both client and company growth strategies. + Partner with client finance teams to ensure transparency, governance, and joint accountability for financial performance. + Lead pricing strategy, cost modeling, and financial negotiations for new business, renewals, and change orders. + Drive initiatives that enhance margin performance while maintaining strong client value delivery. + Ensure financial compliance with contractual obligations, audit requirements, and corporate policies. **Strategic Leadership & Client Partnership** + Act as a trusted advisor to the client’s leadership team, providing insights on procurement trends, cost optimization opportunities, and financial planning for large-scale growth. + Support the account’s senior leadership team in strategic decision-making, resource planning, and capital allocation. + Align financial and procurement strategies to enable operational stability and scalability across facilities, engineering, workplace services, eMobility, janitorial, and construction service lines. + Contribute to executive-level reporting, business reviews, and governance forums with both client and corporate stakeholders. **Team Development & Cross-Functional Collaboration** + Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing procurement and finance team, fostering accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. + Collaborate with operations, engineering, projects, and workplace teams to ensure financial and procurement strategies directly enable service delivery success. + Drive adoption of best practices, systems, and tools to streamline procurement and financial processes. **Qualifications** + 10–15+ years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain, and finance leadership, ideally within large-scale facilities management, corporate real estate, or multi-service outsourcing environments. + Proven track record of managing large P&L accounts ($50M+ revenue) and supporting clients undergoing significant growth or transformation. + Expertise in contract negotiation, vendor management, and strategic sourcing. + Strong financial acumen, with deep knowledge of forecasting, cost modeling, and commercial governance. + Exceptional client relationship skills and executive presence; ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic outcomes. + Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams. + Advanced degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred; MBA a plus. + Professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPM, CFA, CPA, PMP) highly desirable. **Key Competencies** + Strategic Thinking & Financial Acumen + Executive Communication & Influence + Negotiation & Commercial Governance + Supplier & Stakeholder Management + Agility & Scalability in High-Growth Environments + Leadership & Team Development **Pay:** $180,000 - $195,000 DOE The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
