We are currently looking for a Strategic Planning Specialist to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario.
This role will be responsible for the research, monitoring and reporting out of Nissan and Infiniti sales performance to all levels of the company. Responsible for managing the collection and organization of presentation materials from multiple areas of the company that are used to drive decision making in the 2 Key Performance Review meetings each month. Responsible for the analysis and interpretation of meaning associated with the 20 DAY sales data throughout the month. Responsible for the maintenance and updating of the NCI historical Fleet sales database. Responsible for the analysis of the differences between month end “reported sales” results and Pure Retail registration data. Provides insights into the meaning of these differences to CMMs and Management through competitive reports and PRM (Performance Review Meetings) presentation materials.
Job Responsibilities:
Collects and consolidates sales data from internal and external sources to create reports for Chief Marketing Managers, Senior Managers, and Directors, including daily, weekly, and monthly performance by manufacturer, segment, and model.
Analyzes market, brand, and model sales performance against Nissan/Infiniti targets and develops visual materials for monthly TIV Review Meetings, highlighting key insights such as fleet impact and YoY segment growth.
Develops and assembles presentation decks for Nissan PRM#1 and PRM#2, including CPLAN materials focused on Premium Market TIV, brand strengths, and segment trends.
Monitors sales trends at 20- and 30-day intervals each month, assessing TIV strength, SAAR data, adjusted sales pace, and competitive impacts on Nissan and Infiniti performance.
Manages the registrations database and publishes Tableau planning tools that compare reported sales to pure retail registrations across national, regional, and model levels.
Oversees the fleet sales database, compiles new fleet data, produces the monthly fleet report, and provides ad hoc sales analysis and reporting support to Corporate Planning and CMM teams.
Professional Profile We Are Looking For:
Education level: Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
Experience: 1 -3 years of experience in data analysis roles, ideally in:
1. Sales analytics
2. Business Intelligence
3. Commercial or strategic planning
4. Market analysis
Technical Skills:
Microsoft Excel: Advanced skills, including macros, VLOOKUP, and pivot tables.
Microsoft PowerPoint: Proficiency in creating executive level presentations.
Tableau: Familiarity with Tableau Desktop procedures for data visualization.
Other Data Analytics Tools: exposure to basic SQL, Power BI data warehouse tools
Nice to have: Ability to use Snowflake queries to access the electronic data warehouse (EDW).
Language: Advanced English
