Element has an opportunity for a Strategic Marketing Director to join our Built Environment business in EMEAA to lead the development and execution of marketing strategy.
You will work together with a highly engaged cross-functional team where development and continuous improvement is high on the agenda. You will be a key player in making our growth strategy happen.
Responsibilities
As the strategic marketing partner embedded with our Element business units, you will create an aligned roadmap of our customers' end-markets and goals. Providing end market research and insights to create strategic and tactical marketing strategies and plans to support Element's business growth, brand and customer experience objectives
Strategy & Planning:
Develop and introduce a strategic growth plan templateUndertake gap analysis and identify areas where we are uniquely positionedUnlock “proof points” and “claims” with businessDevelop and implement a process to acquire a deep understanding of customer needsBuild, map, and analyze our customer journeyCollaborate closely with sales leaders and other SMEs across the GroupManage Element’s VOC programEnd Market Growth Strategy - Where to Play, How to Win and What to Execute to unlock growth
Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy that aligns with Element’s business goals and prioritiesCreate and leverage competitive market intel to create strategic growthIdentify and highlight market trends and opportunitiesDefine the marketing intelligence process and invest in market intelligence toolsBuild and monitor competitor profilesWork across the group marketing team to share best practice, synergies, and opportunitiesExecution:
Provide critical input into the business unit’s organic growth strategies based on gathering and developing insights from market data and customer researchStrategically plan and execute a detailed schedule of targeted content and campaigns for designated end marketUnderstand the unique value propositions for designated end market and translate them into compelling marketing materials and activitiesWork closely with internal subject matter experts to capture technical details and customer needs and benefitsEnsure accuracy and consistency of messaging across all offerings and touchpoints (website, social media, digital and printed materials, campaigns, etc.) Skills / Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or a related fieldAt least 8 years of strategic marketing experience, at least three of which in a management role.Global experienceTIC Industry (Testing, Inspection and Certification) experience a plusRemote, Work From Home role but able to travel often for businessKey behaviors:
