Your new role
As the Strategic Market Access Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping patient access to innovation in Brazil. Acting as a key leader in our access organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing strategies that ensure timely, sustainable, and value-driven access to Novo Nordisk’s portfolio. You will work across functions and lead a team of experts, driving access excellence in both public and private sectors. This is a highly visible position with a direct influence on business performance, health outcomes, and long-term company strategy. Your main responsibilities will include:
Designing and leading national pricing and market access strategies across therapeutic areas, ensuring alignment with local needs and global guidance.
Coordinating health technology assessment (HTA) and pricing submissions to key institutions such as CONITEC, ANS, and CMED, from dossier preparation to follow-up.
Engaging with stakeholders in both public and private sectors, including payers, policy makers, and industry associations to advocate for access and value.
Partnering cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, HEOR, Corporate Affairs, Marketing, and Regulatory Affairs to co-create integrated access plans.
Representing Brazil in regional and global forums, acting as the voice of local market dynamics and contributing to shaping global access strategies.
Leading and developing a high-performing team, fostering capabilities in pricing strategy, value communication, and market insights.
Monitoring access KPIs and compliance, ensuring that all activities follow applicable legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.

The Market Access team plays a strategic role in ensuring that Novo Nordisk’s innovation reaches patients in a sustainable way. We work collaboratively across departments to drive value-based access strategies that align with healthcare system needs, ensuring long-term impact for patients and society.
Your skills and qualifications
We are looking for a strategic leader who combines deep expertise with strong execution skills. To thrive in this role, you need:
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Public Health, Health Economics, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree is a strong plus.
Fluent English and Portuguese; ability to collaborate across local, regional, and global teams.
Proven experience in Market Access in the pharmaceutical industry, with deep knowledge of Brazil’s healthcare and reimbursement landscape.
Hands-on experience with HTA (health technology assessment) submissions (CONITEC, ANS) and pricing regulations (CMED), including stakeholder engagement and negotiation.
Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and ability to lead teams, manage cross-functional projects, and influence senior stakeholders.
