As a key member of the Strategic Initiatives Team, you will lead growth opportunities across WWSO (Worldwide Specialist Organization). Our team accelerates growth by identifying, validating, and scaling new opportunities, combining business strategy, technical expertise, and operational excellence to transform insights into impactful initiatives aligned with WWSO and AWS strategic priorities.

The Strategic Initiatives Team plays a crucial role in this vision by identifying and validating opportunities that drive meaningful customer outcomes at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement mechanisms to test strategic hypotheses
- Meet directly with customers, partners, and service teams to identify emerging market opportunity and/or refine strategic focus areas
- Qualify impact of potential initiatives through data analysis and market validation
- Lead stakeholder alignment around high-impact opportunities
- Develop business cases and strategic recommendations for senior leadership
- Collaborate with technical teams to evaluate feasibility of new opportunities
- Build mechanisms to measure impact and track progress of strategic initiatives

This role reports to the Strategic Initiatives Team leadership and works closely with Technical and Programs teams to drive growth initiatives across WWSO.

This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.
