Strategic Healthcare Consultant Are you an expert medical aid consultant with management experience? Aon South Africa is recruiting a Strategic Healthcare Consultant in our Employee Benefit Solutions, based on a hybrid basis from our Head Office in Sandton. The Strategic Health and Benefits consultant manages, services and retains a portfolio of clients. In addition, the position is responsible for identifying and engaging in business development with prospective clients. What the day will look like B eing the primary point of contact for clients. Able to manage a team Responsible for client retention and growth of portfolio of clients. Ensure that alll service level agreements and appointment letters are signed, current and in place. Developing healthcare related education programs, conducting healthcare related training and conductin induction training. Ensure that all administrative and regulatory matters relating to each client portfolio is up to date and in order. Relevant reporting on data and information to internal and external stakeholders, including executive reports. These reports will be derived from data and alaytics gathered from Monthly Dashboard reports, provider reports, Pulse and any other data deemed appropriate which needs to be integrated into one professional report. Oversee all queries, ex gratia applications, disputes and information required by the client and ensure it is being handled within the SLA Service promise. Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements Engage in business development and/or contributing directly or indirectly to all business development efforts in Aon South Africa. Skills and experience that will lead to success Qualifications. + A recognised matric qualification. + An NQF 6 or equivalent qualification in healthcare/healthcare administration. + NQD6 in Financial Planning + A relevant bachelor’s degree from a reputable tertiary educational institution would be advantageous. + Registration as a representative with the FSCA in terms of the FAIS act and CMS. + Accreditation on 6 medical schemes, 4 Gap cover schemes and 3 occupational health products is required. + Comprehensive understanding of roup risk pension and provident funds Knowledge. + A well-developed understanding of the medical scheme industry and legislation and regulations governing the industry. + A well-developed understanding of medical scheme financials + An understanding of the Aon healthcare protocols in terms of evaluating the medical schemes model. + Knowledge such that both emplpyee benefits and healthcare clients can be serviced + Experience in report writing, subsidy harmonization, benefit value analysis and benchmarking. + Experience in dealing with C-Suite designatons within organisations. Skills and Attributes. + Well-developed analytical skills, i.e. problem-solving, potential problem analysis, decision analysis. + Well-developed leadership and team managament skills. Must be able to take accountability for Strategy of the Healthcare division and Aon. + Well-developed spoken and written communication skills. Be able to write and present reports from data that assists with strategy for client. + Well-developed influencing and persuading skills. Ability to build relationships at different levels including Unions + Well-developed interpersonal skills. + Digital literacy in Excel and Word. Experience. + Proven experience in a similar or related role. + Extensive healthcare experience. + A consistent record of achievement as a consultant.
