Strategic Delivery Director
Job Description A large hospital system is hiring a permanent Strategic Delivery Director in Tulsa, OK. Provides strategic leadership and guidance to both business and technology partners, ensuring alignment between hospital market needs and enterprise technology requirements. This role serves as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and technical teamsincluding applications, infrastructure, data, and security groups. There will be no direct reports.  Develop and sustain strong relationships with market executives in order to be a consultative partner on all technology topics while articulating short and long term operational implications and trade-offs on technology decisions.  Develop and sustain strong relationships with the systems leaders in order to influence change through articulating operational impact of technology challenges and opportunities.  Develop a deep understanding of the markets way of working plus the larger technology landscape in order to shape and influence the markets vision for technology.  Serve as the executive point for the delivery of all market technology needs and lead your team in comprehensive organization and oversight of the market technology portfolio.  Actively partner with the market in technology ideation, decision making and prioritization including clear articulation of anticipated business return.  Be an advocate for market needs within the larger organization while integrating with the systems standards and roadmaps.  Initiate and lead market teams through change by communicating a compelling case for change.  Manage a cross-functional market based technology operations team. Skills and Requirements High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management. 7 years as a Director level with a Healthcare Technology and Operations Delivery background (Not a technical background) Problem solver with good executive presence Act as the connection point between market demands and technology capabilities, translating business needs into actionable work requests. Oversee governance processes and operational decision-making that drive the creation and prioritization of work requests across applications and platform infrastructure teams. Manage the execution of projects within the health system, ensuring clear expectations, timely delivery, and alignment with strategic goals.
