What will you be doing?
We are seeking an experienced Strategic Marketing lead to drive high-impact communications initiatives during periods of transformation and organizational change, with a focus on merger and acquisition (M&A) integration, issues management, and internal communications. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and cross-functional teams, helping to align internal and external messaging and mitigate reputational risk.
Job Responsibilities
Merger & Integration Communications:
Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing and communications strategies to support M&A activity from announcement through post-close. Collaborate cross-functionally to align messaging across internal and external audiences. Build communication strategies and playbooks to equip internal stakeholders with clear, consistent messaging during times of transformation and growth.Issues & Reputation Management:
Monitor emerging risks and reputational issues; develop proactive and reactive messaging plans. Serve as a key escalation point for managing high-profile or sensitive communications. Partner cross-functionally to ensure alignment with internal and external stakeholder needs.Internal Communications:
Develop and own the strategic internal comms strategy: design and implement a modern, cohesive strategy that aligns with company goals, values, and employee experience priorities. Draft internal messages, speeches, video scripts, and talking points for senior leaders. Partner cross-functionally to drive strategic campaigns around business updates, culture, wellness, innovation, and more—leveraging AI, storytelling and analytics to drive impact. Build communication frameworks that support employee engagement, cultural alignment, and change management during periods of transformation including M&A and other strategic growth initiatives. Liaise with external agencies and media as needed to support major communications efforts.Requirements:
8-10 years of experience in strategic corporate communications, ideally within fast-paced, highly regulated industries such as information services, financial services, or technology. Proven success leading multi-stakeholder communications for mergers, acquisitions, or organizational transformations. Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear, concise messaging. Experience with issues management, including development of response protocols and stakeholder communications. Demonstrated ability to work under tight timeframes, manage through ambiguity, and influence across functions and levels. Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, or related field (MBA or relevant graduate degree a plus).Preferred traits:

This position can be located in the following area(s): USA (New York Area Preferred).
The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $140,000.00 to $170,000.00.
This job is also eligible bonus pay.
