Strategic Communications Business Strategy & Operations Analyst

The Strategic Communications team’s mission is to align and curate narratives and content across our portfolio. We strive to create clarity and alignment across the organization, enabling teams to focus on delivering vehicles and services that customers love and can’t live without. The team works in close partnership with corporate communications (internal and external), executive leadership, and domain experts broadly across Ford. Our Business Strategy & Operations Analyst will combine strategic thinking and human-centered design thinking processes to think differently about how APDP teams communicate. You will function within an agile team of communications experts and will collaborate with a broad group of stakeholders to help define strategy and growth opportunities for projects. **What you'll do...** + Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their priorities, challenges, and opportunities. Translate complex business strategy materials into actionable insights for the strategic communications team + Create and deliver communications assets (written, visual) serving a wide range of audiences (senior management, Board of Directors, external, internal) across a wide range of topics. Your emphasis will be on data visualization and extracting key insights from data + Support annual objectives planning for the organization, with direction from Director of Business Strategy & Operations and Business Strategy Lead + Support the development and filing of key business deliverables. This will include cadenced KPI reporting, Board of Director papers, and other ad hoc papers and strategic studies + Support 2-3 leadership summits per year for executive VP (+) direct reports. This will include agenda and content development, logistics coordination, and facilitation + Provide consultation for pre-existing communications assets from a business strategy perspective. Develop/refine templates and processes to streamline projects as appropriate + Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their strategic priorities, key challenges and opportunities + Create presentations delivered to senior executives as well other internal, and external audiences + Cut straight to the heart of the problem, and love making complex challenges feel simple and intuitive **You'll have...** + Bachelor’s degree with total of 3+ years' experience, including: + 2+ years’ experience in areas that might include a combination of the following: corporate strategy, product management, marketing, product development, business intelligence and analytics, management consulting + Or MBA with 1+ years’ experience. + Moderate to advanced data visualization capabilities. + Highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel + Basic proficiency in project management software capabilities (e.g., Monday, smartsheet) **Even better, you may have...** + 1+ years' experience at an OEM (e.g., automotive, marine, heavy equipment, etc.) + Experience of using human-centered design principles or methods in a formal, in-person setting + Experience of interpreting and translating between research insights, business strategy, and design of products and services + Knowledge of or background in automotive technologies and services + Experience designing and/or facilitating group collaboration workshops + Moderate data analytics and visualization (powerBI, qlik sense, tableau, or similar) You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!
