Job Summary:

Applies knowledge and skills in process improvement, project management, change management and facilitation to enable successful execution of strategic initiatives. Fosters a culture of continuous improvement by advocating process improvement principles, strategies and methods. Assists executives in creating an environment receptive to change and implementing effective change management strategies and plans to enhance performance and improve competiveness of the business.


Principal Responsibilities:

Facilitates, manages and leads the successful implementation of the organization's change management focus and initiatives.Provides knowledge and effective leadership to cross-functional teams that enables the execution of strategic projects and change management initiatives.Facilitates project planning, creates and monitors project plans and manages the completion of assigned projects.Facilitates process improvement/change management workshops and leads design teams in process improvement/change management initiatives.Identifies and effectively utilizes appropriate data analysis techniques and professional acumen to identify the root cause of process issues and then determines the most appropriate method for improving the performance (i.e., Lean, Six Sigma or process redesign, etc.).Coaches leaders in identifying comprehensive and meaningful Key Performance Indicator’s (KPI’s), such as financial, operational, and customer satisfaction metrics needed to transform the business into a high performing organization.Assists business leaders in communicating and demonstrating value creation of new initiatives to receive support of team members of the organization.Works collaboratively with information systems and other resources to define the requirements for supporting applications that ensure delivery of required results.Quantifies engagement impacts and communicates results to the business through the executive sponsor for the project.Provides tracking and lessons learned mechanisms for continual process/program improvement.Other duties as assigned.

Mastery knowledge of industry best practices and disciplines. Considered a subject matter expert within the organization and contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques and standards.Develops solutions to highly complex and uniquely challenging situations. Assignments require extensive evaluation of alternatives and variables. Expected to make improvements to policies and procedures.Works independently toward long-range goals and objectives. Assignments are often self-initiated using independent judgment and discretion. May act as informal team lead and/or coach less experienced team members.Serves as consultant to management and/or internal/external spokesperson for the organization on major initiatives related to policies, plans and long-range objectives.Actions may impact the organization and its reputation. Effects of erroneous decisions may be long-lasting, influence the future course of the organization and/or require the expenditure of extensive additional resources.


Work Experience:

Typically 8+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.


Education and Certification(s):

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.


Distinguishing Characteristics:

May be required to have at least one of the following: Lean, Six Sigma, Change Management, Project Management, Hammer, Balanced Scorecard, etc.May require certification in PROSCI
