Job Description:
This role is responsible for capturing and managing public sector opportunities, with a primary focus on contracts approaching recompete. The position will engage with key decision-makers to monitor deal progression and identify strategic touchpoints. Additionally, the role will lead the coordination and optimization of RFx distribution feeds, ensuring all available tools and resources are effectively leveraged on behalf of our suppliers and partners. The individual will also nurture high-priority opportunities surfaced through market intelligence, driving alignment with partner and supplier interests.
What You'll Be Doing:
Responsible for developing relationships with key decision-makers across public sector agencies and strategic partners, including distributors and their priority branches. Work with MDM, BDM’s, AM’s, and Manufacturer Representatives to streamline engagement workflows and maximize impact across the public sector channel.Utilize existing relationships with strategic partners and suppliers to uncover and advance public sector opportunities. Develop and execute partner-aligned strategies that enable timely engagement with high-value government opportunities.Attend and support Quarterly and Annual partner reviews focused on public sector pipeline development, RFx distribution effectiveness, and capture strategy. Review shared goals, outline priority initiatives, and drive accountability through mutually agreed-upon action items.Continuously inform partners and suppliers of relevant RFx releases, strategic pursuits, and opportunity insights. Collaborate to ensure pursuit alignment and shared ownership of pipeline development and growth within the public sector business unit.What We Are Looking For:
10 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 8 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.Guides others in resolving complex issues in specialized area based on existing solutions and proceduresServes as an expert within own disciplineServes as a resource for best practices/quality on functional teams or projectsTrains/mentors junior staffWork Arrangement:
Hybrid: 2 days in office/3 days work from home
