Strategic and Supply Chain Business Controller

Your main tasks will be:


Business Partnering and Decision Support

Support the OpCo management team in strategic direction setting as well as cross-functional strategic alignment through scenario modelling, profit pool analysis and strategic alternatives evaluation. Maximise business performance by working closely alongside, challenging, and influencing the OpCo Support Function Management Teams. Plan, analyse and challenge OpCo support functions (HR, IT, Finance, Procurement, etc.).  Pro-actively work with the OpCo MT in general and Support Functions Management Teams specifically to identify, analyze and exploit business opportunities, intervene on fundamental issues, lead projects within the OpCo (including the development of financial systems), and provide financial leadership on strategic projects  Challenge current ways of working and propose new approaches with a continuous improvement mindset to enhance business partnering

 

Business Performance Management

Monitor and develop insights on the quantitative and qualitative performance for the OpCo, and communicate these through the preparation and delivery of streamlined reporting including commentary and KPIs.  Secure the delivery of OTIF and high-quality performance reporting to the Opco MT and relevant stakeholders (internal/ Region / Group through BPR, QPR, other relevant reports)

 

Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting 

Co-ordinate the governance cycle for the OpCo as a whole and support the OpCo management team in delivering the 3-year Strategic Plan, the Annual Plan (AP) and the Rolling Forecast (ROFO) OTIF, providing relevant insights and challenge to the stakeholders
 

Leadership & People Agenda

Drive greater connectivity across Commercial, SC and Support functions and the business controllers and develop a culture of continuous improvement  Ensure the development of the overall Finance Function by working closely with the Strategic Business Control manager, the Commercial and Supply Chain Business Controllers and Reporting and Accounting  Foster a culture of fact-based decision making and cost consciousness throughout the organization and contribute to the overall company capability building through the continuous development of stakeholders (providing business insights and challenging the status quo)

  

Requirements:
 

Experienced business controller with at least 4-7 years of relevant experience (FMCG preference): keywords: financial planning, fp&a, planning, cash-flow, strategic planning, resource allocation, rolling forecast, target setting, savings reporting, value tracking, profit pool analysis Track record of delivering strategic initiatives, value adding business cases (strategic re-set, significant change in trade investment reallocation, value chain analysis) Expectation to at least cover 2 out of 3 fields of financial control (1 - commercial, 2 - supply chain, 3 - financial control), where financial control and supply chain control are with priority In terms of Heineken behaviours, please review the picture below (Prio 1: deliver, connect, develop, Prio 2: shape) advantage to have supply chain business control as experience advantage to have compensation & benefit (aka personnel expenses control) experience
