The Job At-A-Glance:
The Q2 Innovation Studio team has a new career opportunity available for a Strategic Alliance Manager. This role will be responsible for vetting new inbound requests for fintech partnerships, ensuring they align with Q2's strategic goals and the needs of our Bank and Credit Union customers. Additionally, the Strategic Alliance Manager will assist in identifying and pursuing new strategic partnerships under the Innovation Studio model. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within the financial services industry, in addition to experience in B2B sales or partnership management.
A Typical Day:
Evaluate and vet inbound partnership requests to ensure alignment with Q2's strategic objectives and customer needs
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess the potential fit and value of prospective partners
Assist in the search and identification of new strategic partnerships that align with the Innovation Studio program
Stay informed about industry trends and developments to identify new opportunities for strategic alliances
Partner on the negation of partnership agreements
Manage the onboarding process for new partners
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential partners
Be the point of contact for strategic partnership conversations and know when to escalate as needed
Work with Q2 Legal team to update partnership agreements as needed
Some travel required
Bring Your Passion, Do What You Love. Here’s What We’re Looking For:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in (relevant degree) and a
minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience.
Previous experience in financial services technology verticals is ideal
Proficiency in using Salesforce CRM
Strong influencing skills and ability to build relationships both internally and with partners at senior levels
Previous experience building relationships with C-level executives highly preferred
Superior communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize as needed
This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
