Strategic Account Technology Strategist
The Account Technology Strategist (ATS) is a senior technical sales leader responsible for aligning the customer’s business- & IT priorities with Microsoft’s technology roadmap. This role is pivotal in driving digital transformation across manufacturing enterprises by engaging with C-level stakeholders, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering strategic technology guidance. As an ATS, you act as a trusted advisor to one of our Strategic Customers, leveraging deep industry knowledge, technical expertise, and enterprise architecture acumen to shape and execute long-term technology strategies. We strive to create an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. **Responsibilities** + **Strategic Technology Leadership:** Provide thought leadership and aligning Microsoft’s technology capabilities with the customer’s operational goals and digital transformation initiatives. + **Enterprise Architecture & Road mapping:** Lead the development of mid- to long-term technical roadmaps tailored to the customer environments, integrating solutions across supply chain, production, and engineering systems. + **C-Level Engagement:** Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives (CIOs, CTOs, COOs), articulating the value of Microsoft technologies in driving operational efficiency, innovation, and competitive advantage. + **Technical Sales Enablement:** Drive demand generation and opportunity development by mapping customer requirements to Microsoft platforms. Support technical specialists in positioning and selling Microsoft solutions. Lead regular pipeline cadences with the account team to review opportunity progression, identify gaps, and accelerate deal velocity through strategic guidance and technical alignment. + **Team Orchestration:** Lead and coordinate internal and external teams—including partners, engineering, and sales—to deliver cohesive and impactful customer engagements. + **Industry Expertise & Enablement:** Deliver regular briefings to customer technology leaders on trends, Microsoft innovations, and best practices. Create enablement plans to build customer readiness and adoption. **Qualifications** + **Education** Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field. + **Experience** + Proven experience in the **Manufacturing Industry** , with a strong understanding of operational processes and challenges. + Proven track record in **technical sales** or consultative selling roles. + Deep knowledge of **enterprise architecture** and digital transformation frameworks. + Track record of engaging with **C-level executives** to drive strategic initiatives. + Experience leading cross-functional teams in complex customer environments.
