The Position

Role Purpose

As a pivotal Strategic Account Partner, you will be instrumental in defining and executing robust key account strategies across your designated portfolio. Your core mission is to optimize pricing, secure sustainable business growth, and cultivate enduring partnerships, directly contributing to Roche Taiwan's overarching business objectives and market leadership.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Strategic Account Management: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive strategic account plans, ensuring alignment with Roche Taiwan's business outcomes. This includes defining winning account strategies to secure and sustain market presence, and guaranteeing pricing strategies strictly adhere to local and global compliance guidelines.

Influential Customer Engagement & Negotiation: Skillfully navigate between high-level strategic deliberations and detailed tactical negotiations to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes with customers. Drive co-creation with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that enhance customer engagement and experience.

Stakeholder Relationship Building: Cultivate and expand deep, trust-based relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within accounts. Leverage agility and creativity in execution to consistently deliver on aligned strategic objectives.

Market Intelligence & Opportunity Generation: Proactively identify market risks and emerging opportunities within your accounts through continuous market oversight. Translate these insights into actionable strategies, solutions, and work packages in collaboration with internal experts and external stakeholders across affiliates.

Performance Management & Cross-Functional Leadership: Define robust Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for strategic account plans and effectively collaborate with diverse internal stakeholders (e.g., Access, Marketing, PJP, Finance, Supply Chain) to ensure exceptional customer experience and the achievement of company outcomes. Lead cross-chapter/squad initiatives, offering innovative solutions in price negotiation strategies and key decision-maker engagement.

Safety reporting compliance: Ensure 100% of safety reports received are forwarded to Drug Safety Chapter within one business day of receipt.

Job Requirement 

Qualifications/ Education :

Good Compliance track record. No material Compliance violation identified in the past 5 years.

B.S. degree in Pharmaceuticals/Hospital Management/Public Health/Healthcare related fields.

 

Working Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in sales, marketing, or other commercial functions within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. Prior experience as a field sales manager or in a key account management role is highly advantageous.

Demonstrated strong track record in successful hospital negotiations and a proven ability to build and maintain robust relationships with critical stakeholders, particularly within hospital procurement and finance departments.

A track record of effective execution for complex programs involving high-level hospital authorities.

Strong capability for peer influencing and alignment.

 

Skills & Knowledge:

Good knowledge of Compliance requirements and clear understanding of high standards of Integrity

Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, capable of influencing diverse stakeholders.

Proven strong execution capabilities, with a focus on delivering tangible results.

In-depth disease and product knowledge within the relevant therapeutic areas.

Strong customer-centric approach with proven relationship management abilities.

Demonstrated project management skills and ability to align priorities across complex initiatives.

Possess keen business acumen.
