Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Strategic Account Manager is responsible for revenue growth by selling the Videojet product range to our existing global strategic customers, visiting customers 3 days a week to understand and solve their industrial automation challenges and selling our renowned machines and associated finance and service agreements.
This position is remote based covering customers in the whole Czech Republic, you will be ideally based in Prague or Brno, however your qualities are more important than location.
In this role, your main responsibilities will be:
Proactively identify and engage new business opportunities with our existing and prospect clients through calls, emails, and networking, typically as a part of a project-based sales approach
Develop account plans and align them with global best practices and global account management teams
Conduct business meetings with existing customers to understand their needs and build trust and develop account relationships at all levels
Prepare tailored offers and recommend the most suitable solutions based on customer requirements
Coordinate and arrange on-site equipment demonstrations at customer locations in collaboration with our service team
Manage the entire sales cycle—from lead generation and qualification to closing deals
Maintain and regularly update your sales activities and funnel in the CRM system
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring alignment with business goals
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth handoff and high customer satisfaction post-sale
The essential requirements of the job include:
Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management
A natural networker and relationship-builder with excellent communication skills
Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) is a strong advantage
Solid understanding of lead generation, funnel management, and KPI tracking
Availability to travel 3 days a week through the entire country visiting strategic accounts
Excellent communication skills, native Czech / Slovak with sufficient knowledge of English to conduct business meetings
