Strategic Account Director
Manages the development and application of a mature/dynamic customer plan based on proven methodologies to manage a sustainable, long-term business portfolio. Collaborates across organization and partners in discussions to impact the broader ecosystem (e.g., passing legislation). Leverages close relationships with leaders (e.g., senior leaders, C-level executives) of the assigned account and the broader ecosystem to shape long-term strategic direction and influence business metrics. Expands strategic customer relationships to drive larger impact for the customer and spread into other areas of the organization. Anticipates issues/risks on customer satisfaction, determines the root cause of problems, removes blockers, and establishes recovery action plan to improve customer's overall experience. Owns the development of strategies that showcase the value added by Microsoft's innovative cloud offerings and ideas grounded on a deep understanding of industry trends and based on account needs and customer's expectations. Leverages internal network of industry experts to strengthen knowledge of the industry, competitors, and customer business priorities and leverages in-depth knowledge of Microsoft's offerings to share knowledge internally, influence customers' business capabilities, drive more competitive solutions, and enhance growth of the account team. **Responsibilities** + Building and maintaining trust with key decision-makers at the assigned account by offering innovative ideas and utilizing industry expertise to establish deep partnerships. + Developing high-impact solutions that drive digital transformation for accounts and create business value for customers. + Creating long-term strategies that foster loyalty and address customer satisfaction as well as risks. + Developing and presenting compelling value proposition presentations and business plans that highlight Microsoft's products and solutions. + Engaging decision-makers to drive customer strategy and optimization, increasing customer budget allocation to Microsoft. + Qualifying new opportunities within accounts and guiding customers with consultative selling skills to drive new business opportunities. + Using business insights to create a competitive advantage for customers and engage in strategic discussions for customer business model evolution. + Leveraging industry knowledge to enhance team capabilities, improve offerings, and adapt messaging for the assigned account. + Orchestrating the execution of account strategies to increase revenue potential and open new opportunities for Microsoft and partners. **Qualifications** **Required/minimum qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree AND relevant experience working in an industry (e.g., Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy, Government, Education, Technology) and/or driving digital transformation OR Master's Degree AND significant experience working in an industry (e.g., Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy, Government, Education, Technology) and/or driving digital transformation OR significant experience in working in an industry (e.g., Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy, Government, Education, Technology) and/or driving digital transformation OR equivalent experience. + Previous experience with the Aviation industry is required.
