Chemours currently has a position(s) available for a Stores Supervisor at our Washington Works site in Washington, WV.  This is a key role within the company. This position will report to the Site TAR/Master Scheduler.

The Stores Supervisor role will work closely with the Production area and Maintenance teams to oversee the sites stores inventory and ensure accurate inventory to meet site needs.  This role will provide functional direction to the contractors in stores to ensure productivity to site procedures, inventory requirements, QA process and that delivery requirements are met. The Stores supervisor needs to be comfortable interacting with different sources to ensure the stores area is meeting production and maintenance needs.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: 

Giving functional guidance to contractors

Managing stores inventory

Manage cycle counts of Stores inventory

Work with MRO technician to review slow moving inventory and new material set up.

Address I-Pay issues

Working with all stakeholders to understand area concerns

Strong background in quality assurance in materials received

Identify and assess potential risks that may impact downtime and cost

Presenting solutions to leaders

Working with contract leaders to identify gaps with employees

In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

High School Diploma or equivalent

2 years’ experience working in stores or like function

Demonstrated competency in leading people.

Demonstrated Problem Solving skills.

Intermediate to Advance Excel and PowerPoint Skills

Proficient in use of SAP

Ability to work independently while at the same time working effectively in a collaborative structure with personnel throughout every level of the WW site

Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, with the ability to multi-task and manage details

Outstanding thoroughness, attention to detail, and accuracy in work product

Outstanding written and verbal communication skill

The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit:

Experience in leading people

Demonstrated Problem Solving skills.

Comfortable giving formal presentations
