Are you an experienced maintenance professional with a knack for systems and organisation? I'm partnered with a fantastic market leading manufacturer who are looking for a Maintenance & Stores Coordinator to join a well-established engineering team in Blackburn. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a critical function, ensuring smooth operations across maintenance scheduling and inventory management.
What You’ll Be Doing: Managing and developing the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure all maintenance activities are tracked and optimised. Coordinating work orders with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure timely completion. Creating reports and metrics to support performance analysis and continuous improvement. Overseeing the stores system, maintaining accurate inventory levels and control procedures. Supporting engineers with inventory needs and ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded. Building strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement. Collaborating with the wider engineering team to improve systems and support project implementation. What We’re Looking For: Experience in a maintenance coordination role, ideally with CMMS system management is desired. Background in stores/inventory management within an engineering or maintenance setting. Solid technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control components. Strong organisational and multitasking skills. Confident communicator with a collaborative mindset. Analytical thinker with a continuous improvement approach.
