**DESCRIPTION** We are looking for a talented **Store person** to join our team at our Tamworth Branch on a permanent full time basis. **In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:** + Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against invoices and purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and quality. + Accurately sort, label, and store materials in designated warehouse locations to maximize space and efficiency. + Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers. + Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. + Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counting and stock reconciliation activities. + Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by following 5S and housekeeping standards. + Adhere to all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures, including the use of PPE and reporting of hazards. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, improve processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives. + Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and support career growth. **RESPONSIBILITIES** **To be successful in this role you will need the following:** + High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or warehouse operations are a plus. + Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment preferred. + Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks); valid forklift license may be required. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and documentation. + Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS). + Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. + Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. + Physical ability to lift up to 25 kg and perform tasks involving standing, walking, bending, and reaching. **QUALIFICATIONS** Full Time 38 Hour Week Rotating Roster for Saturday work 4 hour shift **Job** Logistics **Organization** Cummins Inc. **Role Category** On-site **Job Type** Shop **ReqID** 2415672 **Relocation Package** Yes
