D&EE Shipping team member
Job Summary
An exciting opportunities have arisen to recruit a person into the D&EE shipping team based on A ’site working in the D2 facility.
The successful candidates will work as part of a team to contribute to our business objective of, warehousing RAMS test equipment, loading and unloading Hardware / tooling / SPTE which is being delivered to site or being despatched off site. This is done via SAP and the CEVA matrix. Whilst operating in accordance with safety requirements and within established procedures for the area. These roles report directly to Production Leader for the facility.

Key accountabilities include:
Working with SAP (booking in and out).
Keeping the local D&EE shipping register up to date.
Using the CEVA matrix to arrange shipments for the UK & EU.
Warehousing of RAMs inventory hardware.
Forklift licence required up to 7 tons.
Tracking down deliveries and owners / delivering material and hardware across the site.
Working to set deadlines to achieve performance targets and Customer delivery commitments
Working in a compliant manner to ensure that the packages are secure and correctly identified.
Ensuring a clean and safe environment is maintained in the workplace
Key Skills & Qualifications
Clean driving licence required
Forklift licence required up to 7 tons
PC literacy is essential
Candidates must be able to demonstrate a flexible and adaptable mind-set
Candidates must be willing to develop new skills and undertake training to be able to operate in a flexible manner to support the Business needs
Knowledge of lean principles and process basics
Problem solving skills
Manual handling essential due to the nature of the job
Knowledge of quality tools, systems and procedures
Operating to time and cost will be essential
Has good interpersonal skills
Worked in a customer focused environment that is subject to change
Additional Information
Shift Pattern: 2 Shifts
Monday to Thursday: (6am - 2pm) & (2pm to 9:30pm)
Friday: (6am - 12pm) & (12pm - 6pm)
Weekend Saturday only : (6am - 2pm)
