The Store Worker I Lead receives, stores, and issues equipment, materials, supplies, merchandise, or tools, and complies stock records of items in stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. This worker sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoice, examines stock to verify conformance to specification, stores articles in bins, on floor, or on shelves, according to identifying information, such as style, size or type of material, fills orders or issues supplies from stock, prepares periodic, special or perpetual inventory of stock, and requisitions articles to fill incoming orders. This lead will also comply reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, or damage of stock, locations changes, and refusal of shipments, may mark identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles, may distribute stock among store workers, keeping records of materials issued, may make adjustments or repairs to articles carried in stock, and may cut stock to site to fill order.
Under general Supervision works in the Clothing Initial Issue Point section to provide support with exchange, repair, modification, depot support and warehousing of Army authorized clothing allowances IAW regulatory guidance and standard operating procedures. Performs industrial warehouse duties and work assignments related to movement, handling, oversight and management of materials and equipment. Requires knowledge, experience and use of various material handling systems, equipment and vehicles.
**Responsibilities**
+ Loads, unloads, and moves stock.
+ Issues and transports material, including stock and other special storage items, between storage areas and delivery points and makes interplant deliveries.
+ Operates and performs work using general purpose trucks and power-lift trucks, and other comparable equipment.
+ Checks, identifies, and verifies accuracy of records and quantities of material received, stored, shipped, or issued.
+ Performs Physical Inventory count of material and reports out of balance conditions.
+ Uses barcode scanner and related ADPE to record transactions and update CMMS system.
+ Performs other related duties as required.
**Qualifications**
+ Must be a U.S. citizen to work at Fort Sill, OK.
+ Are you able to lift 50 pounds.
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
+ Three years of progressive experience in Industrial Warehousing.
+ Minimum of one year experience on a forklift. Use of industrial powered and mechanical material handling equipment, (side loaders, stock pickers, pallet jacks, etc.) desired.
+ Valid State Driver’s License.
+ Must possess High School Diploma or equivalent.
