Store Trade Experience Lead (12 months fixed term)

TWG is on the hunt for a visionary to lead our Store Trading Experience team. This 12- month fixed term role covering maternity leave is your chance to help shape the future of retail and deliver exceptional customer experiences that set new industry standards. 

You will lead a small but strong team of high performers by facilitating capability growth, development and knowledge sharing across the team. With a unique ariel view of the store environment and a broad scope to impact the customer experience you’ll be driving best practice in retail store operations while empowering the team to be at its very best.    

Our Store Trading support team members are experts in developing and coordinating the right environment to create exceptional retail customer experiences that exceed sales and services targets. They do this by delivering expert customer led in-store execution & support with events & trading execution, store category initiatives & display guidance.  

Job Description

Quick snapshot of the role; 

Deliver the trading experience strategy and bring it to life in our store environment creating exceptional experiences for our customers across categories 

Translate ideas and divisional strategic intent into tangible outputs for our stores   

Develop plans for the effective execution of all promotional, event, seasonal launches, product and space related initiatives including providing store VM and layout training and reset work   

Support and shape major reset initiatives, creating and being accountable to the critical path to delivery   

Understand the trends, gather customer feedback and pursue ideas that meet our customers’ needs  

Qualifications

To really succeed in this role we are looking for a solid operator who has worked in a large format retail environment.  Someone strategic, customer obsessed and who is comfortable to challenge thinking. You’ll also need to be highly analytical, creative and influential.   

Equally important is your ability to develop, empower and nurture your team to drive engagement and best practice.  We need someone with passion and drive to share knowledge, inspire others and raise the bar.  

You will be mostly based at our Support Office in Northcote, with some flexibility to work from home and potential for some quarterly travel.
