Quanex is looking for a Stock Room Clerk – 1st Shift to join our team located in Trumann, AR.

We are seeking a skilled stockroom clerk to ensure incoming parts are received, quality approved, and placed in bins for inventory control.

 What Success Looks Like:

Fill Replacement Parts and other small component orders, ensuring that they are received, filled accurately and shipped on time. Load and unload trucks properly as necessary and ensure that all paperwork is processed completely and accurately. Check all incoming goods and verify counts.  Ensure that all inventory is moved as necessary within plant. Store inventory to ensure that no damage will occur, and to minimize the time necessary to retrieve it. Ensure first-in, first-out of all inventories.  Ensure that all Kanban requirements are met. Ensure that all cages are filled with parts from the main stockroom.  Maintain accuracy of inventory through cycle counts and the timely reporting of all inventory transactions. Actively participate in annual physical inventory. Follow all plant safety rules and regulations; meet attendance and punctuality requirements. Be knowledgeable about and ensure cell compliance with all ISO 9001 standards. Act as backup for Stockroom Facilitator. Perform any and all other duties as assigned by supervisor.

 Your Credentials:

Over 1 year of experience and up to and including 3 years of manufacturing

 The hourly wage for this position is: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
