About the Role
Babcock is seeking a motivated Storeperson to join our dynamic Defence team supporting the Collins Class submarine program. Based at our cutting-edge facility in Woodville North, you’ll play an essential role in the flow of materials and workshop operations that keep Australia’s submarine capabilities mission-ready.
Your days will be hands-on and varied — from managing goods receipt and dispatch, handling inventory and ERP transactions, operating forklifts and ensuring the store remains clean and efficient, to supporting our workshop with tasks like sandblasting, painting, ultrasonic cleaning, and much more. You’ll also liaise with local suppliers, manage recycling processes, and help assess inventory usage across critical components.
