Key Responsibilities:Implement and maintain scalable and reliable storage infrastructure within a private cloud environment, focusing on Isilon and NetApp technologies.Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention within Isilon and NetApp systems.Monitor storage system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve overall system reliability.Develop and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations tailored to Isilon and NetApp storage environments.Fix and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments, focusing on storage-related challenges.Implement standard methodologies for security, compliance, and data protection within Isilon and NetApp systems.Document processes, procedures, and system configurations specific to the storage infrastructure.Required Skills:Experience as an SRE or similar role, with a focus on storage infrastructure, particularly HP Alletra within a private cloud environment.Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).Demonstrable understanding of networking, security, and system administration within storage environments.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Good communication and collaboration skills.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).Familiarity with microservices architecture and related technologies.Certification in storage technologies (e.g., NetApp Certified Data Administrator).Desired Skills:7 years of demonstrable experience implementing solutions in a global complex enterprise environment.Ability to work in a 24x7 on-call after hour rotation environment.Advocate for DevOps/SRE standard methodologies, leading postmortems/RCAs, incident retrospectives, and operational readiness reviews.Relevant experience supporting security audits, vulnerability assessments, and compliance automation efforts.Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in computer science or a related field.Life at Capgemini
