The Opportunity:

UST Title - Lead I - Cloud Infrastrucuture Engineer 

Client Title - Storage Engineer

Bangalore, KA 

  

Server Management & Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain servers and storage systems (SAN, NAS).  Ensure server availability, performance, and scalability.  Perform routine server maintenance, including software updates, patching, and backups.  Monitor server performance and stakeholders to potential issues.    Data Storage and Management: Manage user access and permissions to lab data and files.  Ensure data integrity and security.    Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security protocols to protect lab data from unauthorized access.  Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as HIPAA, GDPR, and COLA.  Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.    Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to servers, storage, and lab systems.  Collaborate with other IT staff and laboratory personnel to resolve problems.    Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of server configurations, procedures, and policies.  Generate reports on server performance, capacity, and security.    Collaboration and Communication: Work with laboratory staff to understand their needs and provide technical support.  Communicate technical information clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
