At S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, and we are committed to transparency in our pay practices. The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $43,560 - $54,450 Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for S&C’s annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria.

Are you passionate about Production? S&C Electric Company is seeking a dynamic individual to coordinate our tooling function. As a Stockroom Coordinator you’ll be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team. The Stockroom Coordinator is responsible for the organization, maintenance, and control of the organization's stockroom, including the tracking, ordering, and stocking supplies and materials. The Stockroom Coordinator will work closely with purchasing, production, and other departments to ensure the efficient and accurate flow of materials into and out of the stockroom.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining inventory count accuracy and item records for all parts and materials being storedCreate containers for production purposesPerform other warehouse duties as assignedFollow written and verbal instructions to support productionWork in a fast-paced environmentOperate various material handling equipment, including standup and sit-down forklifts, walkie-riders, and material tuggersMaintain accurate records of materials and ensure proper weighing when requiredPerform stretch wrapping of materials, if necessaryOperate band saws to cut various materials to required size.Locating items using inventory recordsMaintain certification for operating material handling equipmentPromote professionalism among associates and foster positive relationships with internal and external customersAdhere to safety guidelines and practices, including 5S safety protocolsRecord time accurately, including time and attendance and labor reporting using the data collection systemUtilize blueprints and various job documents to kit jobs.Use a ruler, tape measure, or caliper to perform accurate measurementsUpdating item location and other inventory informationProcess Help Desk Work Orders when necessaryProcess Help Desk Phone Requests when necessary Maintain regular and punctual attendanceAttend in-person or virtual meetings as requested or requiredCommunicate effectively and respectfully with other team membersUnderstand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rulesOther responsibilities as assignedWork any shift and work overtimeDrive a car or other vehicleWhat you’ll Need To Succeed:
High School Diploma or equivalentMust possess a valid Driver's LicensePreferably at least 1 year of forklift experienceAt least 1 year of warehouse experiencePreferably at least 1 year of experience in receiving procedures Knowledge of inventory control systems and stockroom operationsAbility to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasksExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to collaborate effectively within a team environmentKnowledge of warehouse safety protocolsWork any shift and work overtime, including daily, weekends, and holidays as requiredAbility to read and interpret instructions from a computer screenBasic math, mechanical, and electrical aptitudeComputer and data entry skills. Microsoft Excel and Word experienceAptitude to read part drawings, blueprints, work orders, and to follow written procedures
