Industrial Door Engineering is recruiting a Stock and Purchasing Controller
Industrial Door Engineering is a dynamic and fast growing company in the Industrial Doors sector. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent Roller Shutter Doors and services to our customers, and we are looking for a meticulous and reliable Stock & Purchasing Controller to join our team.
We are seeing an organised and detailed orientated Stock Controller to manage our inventory and stock control processes efficiently. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate stock levels, coordinate stock replenishment, and support the smooth operation of our supply chain by performing regular inspections, audits and liaising with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain stock levels to meet business needs Receive and inspect incoming stock deliveries for accuracy and quality Record and update stock information into the inventory system Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliations to prevent discrepancies Coordinate with suppliers and warehouse teams to ensure timely stock replenishment Identify slow moving or obsolete stock and suggest appropriate action Support stock related reporting and analysis to improve inventory management
About you
You should have previous experience in stock control, inventory management or a related role Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Proficient in Excel and using inventory management systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills and problem-solving abilities Forklift licence is required (training can be provided if required)
