Stock Clerk (Rations)
Overview The Stock Clerk receives, stores, and issues materials, supplies, and foodstuffs, and compiles stock records of items in stockroom. Shall provide customer service and perform duties that support efforts to produce and serve high quality food in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. Responsibilities Shall receive, inspect, unload, accept and document all prime vendor deliveries. Shall visually check food products for surface damage when moving into applicable storage containers; report all questionable products on the same day of discovery. Damaged items shall not be accepted and returned immediately; invoice annotated with returned item and notify supervisor. Shall put away subsistence and materials upon receipt using first in first out storage and retrieval method. Responsible for accomplishing food temperature checks as required in service area. Shall be courteous to customers and able to identify and verbally communicate all items in English. Shall comply with health, safety, and fire regulations regarding food preparation, handling and serving, food shipment and delivery and building maintenance. Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, sanitary, healthy, presentable, professional atmosphere, free of dust, clutter and trash in all working facilities and grounds. Responsible for proper utilization and safeguarding of all government and contractor provided property (e.g., to include government facilities, equipment and tools). Responsible for precise execution of company time reporting procedures and accurate completion of timesheet. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: Equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained may be substituted for education, if degree is required. Must have a High School diploma or equivalent, associate degree preferred. Certifications: Must have and maintain a current Serve-Safe certification. Must have and maintain a current 5k or 10K forklift certification. Experience: Three (1) years of related work experience in food warehousing storage procedures for perishable and non-perishable items. Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse, dynamic team. Good problem-solving skills and sound judgment. Other Requirements: Must have a current, valid Passport, Driver’s License and have ability to obtain any visa required Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently. Must be able to pass employment and deployment qualification requirements that include psychological, medical, dental, drug testing, background checks, etc. Candidate should be other country national (OCN) or local national (LN).
